General Information:

This Conference is the seventh in the series of SATIS aimed to provide a forum for the dissemination of information on the use and development of renewable energy technologies and systems in tropical islands, particularly in the Caribbean. Topics in renewable energy to be covered at the Conference include energy conservation, biomass, wind energy, ocean thermal energy, photovoltaics, solar hot water systems, solar concentration technologies, solar drying, solar cooking and solar absorption systems, amongst others. One main feature of the Conference will be the Exhibit on “Renewables: the Road to Sustainability”. The organizers encourage the participation of researchers, educators, consultants, investors, environmentalists, industry, policymakers and the general public interested in applications of renewable energy technologies in tropical islands.
